A baby has been rescued after being dumped in a hospital toilet in Bauchi state. It was gathered that the hospital workers at federal lowcost area - heard the screams of the baby and traced him to the toilet where he was abandoned. The baby was taken by the hospital staff, bathed and clothed before he underwent some medical checkup. According to reports, no one knows the mother who dumped the baby in the hospital toilet and how she did it.

A woman was brutally murdered by a man, Taofik Adara, in Badagry after seeking spiritual help. The arrested suspect said he was paid N4000 by a herbalist to kill the woman.Adara, alias Kie-Kie, was paraded at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja. During his confession, he claimed that he chopped off the woman’s head with a cutlass given to him by his hirers. It was a black Tuesday, July 28, 2020 for Achamo Christina, a 32 year old mother whose two kids died hours after she left them. The incident happened at Kosala Quarter in Kumba, Meme Division of the South West region. News Upfront gathered that Kibem Christopher (4 years) and Becabery (2 years) were playing in a neighbour’s compound before the unfortunate happened. According to Achamo Christina, the kids who were looking healthy ate poridged Irish potatoes prepared the previous day before going to play with neighbours. Food consumed by the kids before their death It is alleged that they died of food poisoning. Investigation into the death of the kids has been launched. Worth noting is the fact that a Kumba based renowned man of God, Pastor Kelvin tried in vain to resurrect the children.
A woman identified as Uche, succumbed to burn injuries after she was allegedly set on fire by her co-wife in Imo State. The deceased's sister, Nwanneka Ifurunna, who disclosed this in a Facebook post on Saturday, January 7, 2023, said the incident happened in Owerri. The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has confirmed the death of a corps member at the orientation camp in Ede, Osun State. LIB reported that the corps member identified simply as Bright, died in his sleep a few days ago. The Public Relations Officer of NYSC in Osun State, Funmi Okundaye, confirmed the incident to the Punch but refrained from giving further details about the circumstances surrounding his death. "What you read is that a corps member passed on in his sleep? That was exactly what happened; there is no other thing to add. Nothing to add or remove from it,” Okundaye said. The 2023 batch ‘B’ stream 1 orientation course commenced on July 12 across the country and is scheduled to end on August 1.

South African pastor, Penuel Mnguni, 24, of End Times Disciples Ministries Church in Soshanguve, north of Pretoria, instructed his congregation to eat snakes – and they obeyed. According to Citizen, the activity was based on a sermon regarding faith, in which Mnguni declared that he had “the authority to change everything into anything and it will obey because of our authority”. A young Nigerian medical doctor has died on her way home, barely two days after completing her mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme. Doctor Dies In Car Accident On Her Way Home After Completing Her NYSC Programme [Photos] 1 Doctor Urenna Samuel Iroegbu was declared dead at the hospital after a big truck ran into her car while returning to Akwa Ibom State after her service in Port Harcourt in Rivers State. Iroegbu graduated from Imo State University last year after spending eight years studying medicine. She passed out from the NYSC programme on Thursday, July 16, 2020. On Saturday, she boarded a Toyota Sienna commercial vehicle to Akwa Ibom, but never made it home. The vehicle she was in was said to have driven against traffic shortly after a heavy rain around 4pm. A lorry, which had the right of way, was said to have rammed into the vehicle which Iroegbu was in along Onne road, Rivers State.
A Nigerian woman, Mrs Gloria Chiaka Aderibigbe, has died two days after giving birth to a set of twins after ten years of marriage. According to her sister, Nancy Chiama, Gloria developed complications shortly after giving birth to her babies on Thursday, December 23. On Christmas Day, she passed away. Read her post below:
On the day Patience’s husband died, she was shooting a movie on location. Upon hearing the news from her family that he had died and that they had put him in a mortuary, she stopped shooting – strongly despite the wishes of the movie producer, but Patience didn’t care. A 17-year-old teenager, Chisom Chukwuneke who got 7A1s in the 2019 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has reportedly died. Chisom Chukwuneke, bagged straights A’s in the exam and emerged the best student from her school, Graceland college in Enugu last year. She went on to win numerous academic awards in her school. A bride-to-be identified as Wezzie Msiska has died in a motor accident on her wedding day in Malawi. According to local media, she was being driven to church to get married to her fiancee, Victor Kayera on Saturday, December 18, when a Nissan Xtrail rammed into the car. Wezzie was rushed to Kasungu DHO for medical attention. Sadly, she died of internal bleeding hours later.
A woman and her 20-year-old son have lost their lives in an accident that happened along Jalingo - Wukari road in Taraba State, IGBERETV reports. It was gathered that Lolo Eucharia Onyeogaziri Obasi,52, and her son, Richard Chidera, were travelling to their hometown, Awgu in Enugu State when the accident happened. A wake keep was held for them at St. Theresa's Catholic Cathedral Church, Yola in Adamawa state on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Mother and son will be laid to rest next year.
